From September 25 to 27, Hotel Divisamar will host three days dedicated to Costa Rican art, cultural exchange, and interaction between artists, the community, and visitors in Playa Manuel Antonio, Quepos.
Playa Manuel Antonio will become a meeting point for Costa Rican art during the II National Art Gathering in Playa Manuel Antonio, a cultural initiative that will bring together national artists, cultural managers, artisans, visitors, and art enthusiasts.
The event will take place from September 25 to 27 at Hotel Divisamar, in Playa Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Full program of the II National Art Gathering
Friday, September 25
The first day will begin at 1:30 p.m., with the opening of the work and exhibition spaces, which will remain available until 5:30 p.m.
The day’s activities will include the arrival and registration of participating artists and the first painting exhibition.
Admission will be free. Donations received during the event will go toward funding projects of the Friends of Culture Association of Manuel Antonio and Quepos.
Saturday, September 26
The second day will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the opening of the exhibition and artists working on site.
The first and second Art Workshops in Quepos will take place during the day, both free of charge.
From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a second exhibition will be open to the public, also with free admission. The program includes interaction between visitors and artists, as well as promotion of the works on display.
The day will also include a meeting with members of the press and interviews with local media.
At 2:30 p.m., the third and fourth Art Workshops in Quepos will take place, also free of charge.
Sunday, September 27 — World Tourism Day
The final day will feature the third and last exhibition, open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with free admission.
The closing activities will continue at 3:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception exclusively for artists and invited guests.
At 4:30 p.m., the official closing ceremony of the event will take place.
