We want to take this chance to send a Happy 4th of July to all our readers from the USA.
For many of us living abroad it is s time to get a little taste of home and to show our pride in our home country.
There will be multiple fireworks displays around Costa Rica in San Jose and many of the popular tourist beach town such as Tamarindo and Jaco.
We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.
For many of US expats that reside abroad we were given a foundation for our life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness from our US upbringing and are now following our dreams in Costa Rica.
In Costa Rica, the celebrations include the ANNUAL 4th OF JULY PICNIC held by the American Colony Committee. This is the 55th year.
The event for all U.S. citizens and their immediate families is being held at the Cerveceria Costa Rica, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. This year each U.S. citizen may bring ONE TICO friend. For more click here.
