Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
“After almost 10 hrs of exhaustive driving that started in the choking smog and traffic of san jose, we pulled into what would turn out to be one of the most lush and beautiful places on Earth…The Osa Peninsula..
Truly where the Tropical Rainforest meets the Pacific Ocean! ( or sea if you prefer)….
Our exhaustion was tempered only by our enthusiasm for the coming day…As the Howler monkeys where more than willing to ablige us with a 4;30 wake up call,we rose to the sun climbing over the mountains lining the Golfo of Dulce.
Could this place be true? Had we been transported to Eden? We had NEVER seen some much GREEN and in so many shades…..
All our anxiety about committing to this long and arduous trip to Southern Costa Rica had vanished and we were like kids in a candy store! “.
