Today, November 8, Sports Minister Hernan Solano Venegas, opened the Bio Healthy Park in the city of Esparza, which is located on the sports grounds of the Cantonal Committee for Sports and Recreation.
This project was carried out through an alliance between the Esparza Municipal Council, the Mayor’s Office and the Cantonal Committee for Sports and Recreation.
Minister Solano emphasized the need to create more sports facilities to avoid having to create more medical centers. This initiative is a program of the Costa Rican Institute of Sports and Recreation (ICODER), a way to meet the objectives to promote physical activity and recreation in communities, to obtain a better quality of life.
