Costa Rica – This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home and these little piggies went to Panama in the trunk of a car. Seems that someone needed some pork for their Semana Santa tamales but they did not want to go to the store.

Three students were arrested near the Panama/Costa Rica border on suspicion of stealing pigs.

The suspicion was brought about by the fact that they had three pigs in the trunk of their Nissan.

The arrest took place Saturday night as the three returned to Costa Rica soil after a jaunt in Panama.

The pigs were stolen from Colegio Técnico Profesional de La Cuesta de Corredores which was an area for animals including pigs and goats.

The three students are being held fro the crime of theft.

The pigs will be returned safely to the school where they will most likely be eaten one day, but just not today…..
