Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. March 17, 2014 The Paradizio condominium developers are excited to announce the debut of their new website and virtual sales office for prospective buyers looking for stylish residential properties in Costa Rica’s Gold Coast. Prospective buyers are invited to review the website and become familiar with everything that Paradizio, Guanacaste and Playas del Coco have to offer.
There are just 22 condominium units at Paradizio, and developers have already seen plenty of interest by locals and seasonal residents of Playas del Coco. It is easy to understand why: Over the last two years, this small beach town has become one of the most sought-after housing markets in Guanacaste, which in turn is the most prosperous province in Costa Rica.
Playas del Coco is part of Costa Rica’s Gold Coast, a string of Pacific Ocean beaches where high-end tourism and luxury real estate have become the norm. Since the early 21st century, the Gold Coast of Costa Rica has emerged as an alternative to the Central Pacific Coast communities of Jaco Beach and Playa Herradura, which have lost some of their idyllic charm due to unrestrained development. A similar situation has afflicted towns such as Tamarindo Beach in Guanacaste, also part of the Gold Coast. Thankfully, Playas del Coco has managed to remain impervious to this wave of relentless development.
The town of Playas del Coco is known among residents of Costa Rica as one of the most family-friendly and traditional beach communities in Guanacaste. Among the many reasons for this predilection is the ease of access. Playas del Coco is served by provincial route 151, which connects to the town of Sardinal and further out to national highway 21 and the city of Liberia. This means that Playas del Coco is within proximity of the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) and the Enrique Baltodano Stadium where the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup is being held.
Although Playas del Coco is certainly convenient in terms of location and being near suburban comforts such as world-class hospitals, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, beach bars, etc., the main attraction for expat investors is the sheer natural beauty and the community’s resilience to becoming a crowded town such as Jaco or Tamarindo Beach. The idea of developing the Paradizio beach condominium in Playas del Coco was started by two best friends who have been surfing around the world for years; they clearly understand the value of sparsely populated surfing spots.
The architectural design at Paradizio is comfortable and subdued. The focus is not on creating an imposing high-rise tower structure as seen in other parts of Costa Rica; it is rather on blending with nature and respecting the surrounding forest and arboreal wildlife by allowing a monkey path above the property. To this effect, most condo owners will enjoy a view of forest canopies, colorful birds, butterflies, monkeys, etc.
Paradizio units range between 1,000 to 1,700 square feet of living space. Interior features include walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens, relaxing balconies, and spacious bedrooms. Community features and amenities will include storage (very important for surfboards), secure covered parking, resort-style swimming pool with waterfall, lush landscaping, BBQ and picnic areas, panoramic views, and more. Pricing starts around $99,000.
