Costa Rica News - Costa Rica is applauding the International Court of Justice’s strongly worded order to apply new provisional measures against Nicaragua for its continued misbehavior in the ongoing border conflict near the mouth of the Río San Juan. By unanimous decision, the world court again ordered Nicaragua to remove all personnel of the contested border zone and to repair damage it caused by cutting two new trenches through the disputed territory. Costa Rica News - One of the most visited parks of Costa Rica has received the funds necessary to rebuild their trails. The restoration of the trails of Manuel Antonio began this past Friday. The cost of the project is about ¢ 600 million ($ 1.2 million) and is made possible with the input from the National System of Conservation Areas (Sinac) and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Costa Rica News - Two bodyguards got prison terms in Costa Rica for firing at photographers trying to get shots of the wedding of NFL star Tom Brady and model Gisele Bundchen. Miguel Solis of Costa Rica and Alexander Rivas of Colombia were found guilty of attempted murder Friday in Puntarenas and sentenced to five years, Sky News reported.
