The new Municipal Puntarenas resort will be ready early 2012, after several months of construction.
On Monday 25 April first stone was laid and construction began on the new Swimming Pools Complex of Puntarenas.
After 12 years of being abandoned by the local government, Puntarenas Municipality will build a modern, luxurious and comfortable building that cost more than 1500 million colones.
The Municipality of Puntarenas awarded the construction of the work to Navarro and Avilés Company SA.
In this project will be constructed two beach-style pools, one large for adults and another little will be built for the children. There will be a playground for children. A modern two-storey restaurant bar with another building that will serve as a wardrobe and dressing.
After eight months INCOP, the Municipality of Puntarenas and Ministry of Tourism have it ready in the peak holiday season.
All Puntarenas locals are welcome to build new Puntarenas complex resort and the economic revitalization of the province and country.
The business will be given in concession and is one of several projects planned to attract more tourists to the port of Puntarenas.
