It is a theme park, focused on coastal marine education, in addition to having a Marine Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center and a Biotechnology Development Laboratory in marine aquaculture.

The Park offers a guided tour service at no additional cost, one of the specially trained guides will assist you to discover the curiosities, beauties and work of the Marine Park. We invite you to make your reservation by calling the park phone number.

Through the Environmental Education services through informative talks, workshops and practices you can experience the sensation of dissecting an animal, feeding a marine species, getting to know the microscopic world of the ocean or a little more of your favorite animal. These and more topics are available with prior reservation.

The Marine Park also has a souvenir shop open on weekends (Friday through Sunday), starting at 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and during special hours during the holiday season. In the store you can buy marine stuffed animals, variety of jewelry, handicrafts made by artisans from Puntarenas, ornaments, souvenirs and Costa Rican books, among others.

Within the Park facilities there is a restaurant, with food service in the best style of the kiosks of the Paseo de Los Turistas. With a varied menu and designed to satisfy a wide variety of appetites. Restaurant hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
