Costa Rica News – (Surf Report May 2nd and May 3rd) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our new Jaco Beach Model of the Week. This weekend has waves on both coasts of Costa Rica, but the Pacific side is looking for a great swell coming in that expects 3 foot overhead waves filling in Friday and peaking Saturday. North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: SSW swell eases with waves running shoulder high to a foot+ overhead at good breaks.
WEATHER/WIND: For most areas, look for light/variable wind for the early mornings. SW/WSW flow will build through the mid morning and into the afternoon at moderate speeds. Potential for evening clean ups. NOTE – Passing showers or thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 05/02 – 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead – Easing SSW swell
Saturday 05/03– 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high – SSW swell tapers off

Saturday 05/02 – 1.2-1.5m – Shoulder to head – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable northeast winds with smooth seas all day.
