Puntarenas Carnival 2016
From 7 to 11 April 2016, the city of Puntarenas offer the long-awaited and traditional Carnival, with Queens, Tope, concerts, festivals and all the joy of the people in the beach.
In April, the city of Puntarenas is dress to present to one of the most anticipated shows: Puntarenas Carnival, which summons thousands of enthusiasts who like bright floats, joy, emotion and rhythm of the parade groups before them in the beautiful natural scenery of the country.

April 7 – Presentation of the former queens of carnival.
April 8 – Color Festival.
April 9 – International concert, followed by Carnival.
April 10 – Great Tope.
April 11 – Great dancing of Bochos.
This artistic expression has over twenty years of experience, being considered the most important carnivals in the region.
