Costa Rica News - One of the most visited parks of Costa Rica has received the funds necessary to rebuild their trails. The restoration of the trails of Manuel Antonio began this past Friday. The cost of the project is about ¢ 600 million ($ 1.2 million) and is made possible with the input from the National System of Conservation Areas (Sinac) and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The Executive Director of Sinac, Rafael Gutiérrez Rojas said the project seeks for the opportunity to discuss tourism in the protected areas, improve infrastructure and access for visitors to theses areas. Primer Torneo infantil de Pesca Turística para niños.
Con la entrega de una nueva radiopatrulla para el cantón central de Puntarenas, así como con la firma de un convenio que permitirá a la Fuerza Pública local que otras dos patrullas sean reparadas por el gobierno local, autoridades del Ministerio de Seguridad y del citado municipio esperan mejorar la seguridad de la Perla del Pacífico.

Costa Rica está lleno de misterios, magia y color gracias a nuestros bosques, nuestras playas, nuestros tesoros naturales. Tengo varios años de visitar San Gerardo de Dota, un pueblo fundado por dos hermanos, de los cuales uno sobrevive, don Efraín Chacón, con quien escribí un libro sobre la historia de cómo él ingresó a esa zona cuando era bosque virgen y de qué manera ha vivido sesenta años en armonía con el ambiente, siendo congruente, perseverante, respetuoso de la naturaleza. Hoy, miles de extranjeros visitan San Gerardo de Dota para ver quetzales y más de 180 especies de aves. Incluso, expertos lo han considerado uno de los mejores 50 lugares del mundo para observar aves. Esto se debe a la grandeza de una cuenca diminuta, que se conserva como un cofre lleno de secretos.
